Counselor EOPS/Care & 3SP, Clear Lake Campus
Lake County Campus, Bldg:100, Room:126A
Welcome to WCC! I am Ingrid Larsen, a Counselor, and Professor. During my educational journey, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Chico State in 1999, a Master of Arts in Counseling from Sonoma State in 2008, and later studied at Florida Institute of Technology in Behavior Analysis. I started my work in non-profit programs advocating for victims of crime and as a health outreach advocate. As an educator, I worked in the K-12 system as a Counselor, Behavior Analyst, and adjunct Community College Counselor for Disabled Students. These experiences led me to Woodland Community College where I serve the students in our local EOPS/CARE and CalWORKs programs. As your Counselor/Educator, I promise to be your partner in creating your best life. I work from a solutions-focused perspective and reflect on my educational background to develop comprehensive services. We support your whole self; educationally, social/emotionally, and career pathway explorations. As a human being, I am a lover of the outdoors. You can find me hiking on the hills, paddleboarding on the lake, and camping with the family. Creating a strong connection with nature restores the harmony in my life. I look forward to getting to know you better & supporting your dreams!
