I enjoy assisting students in reading, writing, and critical thinking and encouraging them to continue their educational journey after college. I have lived primarily in the southwestern United States, in New Mexico, Arizona, and California. I earned both my Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees from Northern Arizona University. My academic focus in college was multifold: linguistics, rhetoric, literature, and creative writing. I have taught at Imperial Valley College, Evergreen Valley College, Mendocino Colge and began teaching for Woodland College, Lake COuntry Campus, in 2020. I reside in Lake County with my husband, kids, birds, and cats.
